Gary Drake offers independent wealth management and investment services for individuals, families, non-profit organizations and small business owners. He created Flint Hills Investment Services to serve his clients without the restraints found in large brokerages or banks. With no obligation to sell any particular products, sales quotas or referrals to other corporate services – his clients can be confident that he is working to serve his client’s needs.
Gary holds his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Education from the University of Nebraska. He is also a graduate of the Colorado School of Banking. After teaching in the high school and community college levels, he began his career in banking. As a lender and then bank management he has helped many individuals and businesses with their financial needs for over 30 years.
Prior to founding Flint Hills Investment Services – Gary served as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC in Manhattan, Kansas. Gary and his wife Yvonne have lived in the Flint Hills area of Kansas for 25 years. They are the proud parents of three grown children and six grand-children. Gary and Yvonne enjoy their community service work with Geary Community Hospital, Junction City and Fort Riley. They also enjoy following their grandchildren’s school and athletic events.
